Challenge: Improve monetization of Inspired Square’s growing user base in an already competitive monetization setup
As Inspired Square's user base continued to grow, the opportunity to further optimize monetization in an increasingly competitive market became a key focus. The company has built a strong foundation, relying on ad revenue as its primary source of income for its free-to-play games. Over time, Inspired Square implemented a variety of successful ad formats — such as rewarded video, interstitial, and banner ads — and worked with multiple ad partners to maximize their reach.
With the guidance of GameBiz Consulting, Inspired Square developed a sophisticated and efficient monetization system, utilizing segmentation by factors such as device platform, country, and Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) status. This setup had already proven effective, but Inspired Square saw an opportunity to take their monetization strategy to the next level. The goal was to find a partner who could help further optimize performance, unlock additional revenue opportunities, and integrate seamlessly into their existing system, all with minimal operational effort.
Solution: Moloco SDK bidding grows ARPDAU and eCPM with minimum operation effort
Inspired Square partnered with Moloco to integrate its SDK bidding solution into their existing MAX mediation setup. After implementing the solution, they quickly noticed a significant improvement in their ad monetization performance with minimal operational complexity.
According to Božo Janković, Head of Ad Monetization at GameBiz Consulting, the integration of Moloco’s bidding solution was seamless and easy to set up:

During the two weeks of AB testing Moloco within our Applovin MAX mediation, across 2248, X2 Blocks and Merge Hexa games, we saw a significant increase in performance over all three games and all three ad formats we are using. Results: Ad ARPDAU growth of up to +18.4%
By integrating Moloco’s SDK bidding into their ad mediation setup, Inspired Square achieved impressive improvements in ad revenue, as measured by ARPDAU and eCPM across various ad formats:
- Increased ARPDAU across both rewarded and interstitial video ad units by 5-6%
- Achieved up to 18.4% ARPDAU growth for banner ads
